  • Scholars who want participate for their school in this ASA league can only do so if their school is affiliated as a club with ASA. All athletes must have a valid ASA license for this league.
  • Scholars of schools that are affiliated with both ASA and SASA may participate in both SASA and ASA Cross Country Running events.
  • ASA and SASA operate independently and there are significant differences between ASA and SASA qualification standards, team selection requirements, obligations, and liability.
  • Due to the differences between ASA and SASA, the achievements, results, and outcomes between them are not interchangeable for the purpose of qualification and team selection. Athletes must comply with the requirements and qualify for each federation independently.
  • An ASA-affiliated school is essentially an ASA club that is affiliated with the same name as the school.
  • It is for each school to decide whether, or not, to grant recognition and merit for scholars who participate in ASA events. Athletes must please confirm this with their schools to avoid disappointment.
